In camera module manufacturing and packaging, the use of AA process adhesive is indispensable. As a professional UV adhesive manufacturer, our series of camera module UV adhesives have been widely applied in leading first- and second-tier camera module factories in China. Among them, our AA process adhesive has gained unanimous recognition from customers.

Our AA adhesive is a dual-curing adhesive with UV + heat curing mechanism (an alternative to 354). It is specifically designed for the AA process in multi-camera module assembly. This adhesive serves as a reliable camera module fixation solution and is widely applied in automotive camera modules, security camera devices, and other imaging systems.

Recently, many camera module manufacturers have contacted us online, not only to select the right AA adhesive but also to learn the correct usage method of AA glue. To help users apply it effectively, we have prepared this AA process adhesive usage guide.

Product Features of Our Camera Module AA Adhesive

  1. Dual-Curing Mechanism – Initial positioning strength is achieved with UV curing, followed by low-temperature thermal curing for higher bonding strength.
  2. Precise Assembly Support – The UV pre-curing strength allows positional adjustments during assembly, meeting the requirements of initial fixation.
  3. Optimized Viscosity – Moderate viscosity with high thixotropy prevents adhesive flow during dispensing.
  4. Temperature Resistance – Withstands thermal cycling tests from -50℃ to +140℃ after curing.
  5. Low-Halogen Formulation – Complies with EU REACH and RoHS 2.0 standards.
  6. High Bonding Strength & Dimensional Stability – Low shrinkage, excellent formability, and superior mechanical reliability.
  7. Wide Application – Suitable for automotive camera modules, smartphone camera AA processes, camera-to-bracket bonding, security camera modules, and miniature camera modules.

Usage Guidelines for Camera Module AA Adhesive

  1. UV Pre-Curing – Under UVA light (320nm–420nm), the adhesive achieves tack-free initial cure within 1–5 seconds, ensuring no relative displacement of bonded materials.
  2. Thermal Curing – Post-curing is recommended at 80℃–100℃, adjustable based on production efficiency and design requirements.
  3. Bonding Strength Optimization – Maximum strength is obtained when bonded materials remain fixed during UV pre-curing and receive sufficient thermal curing energy.
  4. Design Considerations – Component size, structural design, oven type, and heat transfer efficiency directly affect final adhesive performance.

Precautions When Using AA Process Adhesive

  1. Ensure bonded surfaces are clean and free of oil or contaminants.
  2. Maintain stable air pressure during adhesive dispensing.
  3. Control the dispensing volume consistently to improve yield. Remove excess uncured adhesive immediately after application.
